On July 31, the 6th Summer Summit of the World Congress of Traditional Chinese Medicine was held in Changchun. With the theme of "Promoting Traditional Medicine and Building a Community of Human Health", the conference adopts a combination of online and offline methods, and more than 2.4 million people in more than 30 countries and regions on five continents around the world watch it simultaneously.

Han Jun, deputy secretary of the Jilin Provincial CPC Committee and governor of Jilin Province, congratulated the summit. He introduced the basic ideas and main measures of Jilin Province to build a strong province of traditional Chinese medicine. The first is to deepen industrial upgrading and promote the high-quality development of the traditional Chinese medicine industry; the second is to deepen scientific and technological innovation and enhance the inheritance and innovation ability of traditional Chinese medicine; the third is to deepen the integration and development and promote the formation of a new format of traditional Chinese medicine health services; the fourth is to deepen the cultivation of talents and promote the construction of a highland for talents in the traditional Chinese medicine industry; the fifth is to deepen international exchanges and cooperation to make Jilin contributions to the construction of a human health community. Ma Jianzhong, president of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, pointed out in his speech that at present, Chinese medicine has spread to 196 countries and regions, and the number of people who have received acupuncture, tuina or qigong treatment of traditional Chinese medicine in the world has reached more than 1/3 of the world's total population. As an important international business card and health messenger, Chinese medicine has become an important part of building a community with a shared future for mankind and connecting people with the "Belt and Road". During the pandemic, World Union has repeatedly recommended who recommends the use of traditional Chinese medicine to fight COVID-19 to the world. Seven global anti-epidemic live broadcast and video connection activities were organized to introduce the anti-epidemic experience of Chinese traditional Chinese medicine. World Federation actively fulfills its obligations as an international organization, gives full play to its role as a bridge connecting domestic and foreign Chinese medicine groups and experts and scholars, and shares the rich and valuable experience accumulated by China with the world in a positive and open attitude to help the global fight against the epidemic.

The conference also exchanged and discussed the advantages of major diseases such as the prevention and treatment of tumors in traditional Chinese medicine, the development of traditional Chinese medicine health tourism, etc., and displayed the latest scientific research achievements and technologies of traditional Chinese medicine.
